Methodology
Each snapshot captures the headline number per series at 23:55 UTC (00:55 Lagos time the next day), which is "end of day" in the sense that all our scrape crons have completed by then.
- FX rates: median of CBN window + parallel/peer-to-peer sources, refreshed hourly.
- Petrol/diesel: state-level averages from the National Bureau of Statistics' Premium Motor Spirit Price Watch.
- FMCG bands (cement, rice, garri, generators, rent, tokunbo): median of live Jiji.ng listings, refreshed weekly. Quality gate rejects scrapes where p25 == p75 across ≥10 listings.
- Bus fares: live GIGM scrape, weekly. Other carriers TBD.
